Every human being has the desire to be accepted. We naturally want to feel loved and accepted for who we are.
Many of us have struggled with this, including myself.
It is sometimes hard comprehend that God accepts us no matter what.
God has this amazing nature to separate our “who” from our “do”. He loves and accepts us without the “ifs”, “ands” or “buts”.
Many of us believe that God excepts us (hang on before you correct the grammatical error). 🙂
We allow our little minds to think that God accepts everyone else, except for us.
We know our weaknesses and our shortcomings — so does God.
It is so freeing to know that we don’t have to impress the most important Being in the world. He already accepts us.
As a matter of fact, He accepted us and chose us before He met us!
Ephesians 1:4-6 says, “just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”
The end of the verse sums it all up! The word “Beloved” means to approve of or to love.
God approves of who you are! You are accepted by the best!
I hope you were encouraged!
